[Scribus] Scribus 1.3.3.9 on OpenSuse 10.2: Icons missing

Hi,

After sucessfull compiling the source of Scribus 1.3.3.9 on OpenSuse  
10.2 i can run Scribus, but the icons of the symbol palette are missing.
Any idea what went wrong? (I checked on Suse 9.3 also, same problem)

I also didn't find out how to install other languages and if i choose  
"English", the next time i go into preferences it is still not selected.
