[Scribus] dumping large document to Scribus ?

+ I wanted to report on my partial success with this method,
using 188.8.131.52 .
I am consistently getting just the first two pages of the text...
or... after various editing efforts, such as pushing text further
down page, or deleting lines to move text up into page, only then
do the remainder of the pages appear on pages after the 2nd...
and, while this itself is puzzling, I am also seeing apparent
multiples or overwriting of pages beyond 1 & 2 (looks almost
solid black, where two or more pages of text are overlayed).
Is this a bug ? Anyone else experience similar with this
