[Scribus] Help with pdf import

You could try PDFCreator 
(http://www.pdfforge.org/products/pdfcreator). This is a 
printerdriver for creating PDFs from every application. Just 
print to PDFCreator and create a PDF.

==> PDFCreator supports also other formats. Instead of PDFs 
it can create PNG, JPEG, BMP, PCX, TIFF, PS and EPS files.

Try the EPS format ... and import this to Scribus.

Till now I did not try to print in EPS files with 
PDFCreator. So I can not say anything about the quality.

But it would be worth a try.
