[Scribus] Preferences lost on restart

Well, then the preferences change while Scribus is not running. Can you
quit Scribus, copy the output of "ls -l ~/.scribus" to somewhere, reboot,
and then compare to the output of "ls -l ~/.scribus"?

Especially check if the dates of files have changed in during reboot.
