Didn't know you have Acrobat at your disposal.
Apart from the extra steps there is a downside to this approach: Scribus
uses a lot of memory when importing EPS as native Scribus objects. You might
run out of memory if you import a lot of pages like this. The approach using
imageframes usually needs less memory (for running Scribus, the resulting
PDF might well be larger).
