In fact you could help us! From what I remember from PageMaker, especially
text handling was much smoother than in Scribus. Maybe you could file bug
reports for missing functionality in Scribus?
Or you could prepare a PageMaker-compatible shortcuts file and share it with
other users?

Just some ideas,
