Dear Scribus creators and members:
  I am a longtime user of Quark at the newspaper where
I work. I have wanted a copy of Quark on my home
computer, but the price was exorbitant. 
  Thank you for creating a very respectable open
source alternative to a very expensive desktop
publishing program! I am just now starting to learn
Scribus (and Gimp), having only downloaded them a week
ago. I am confident it will fulfill my needs.
