OK I have followed the advice. I used cmake etc. and make to install
Scribus 1.3.3.12 in a subdirectory of my home directory.
Now, do I do make install as usual, or do I need a special parameter
for that step also? I am concerned that the plugins etc. will still
clobber my 1.3.5 plugins.
