I suspect you can't use your 1.3.4 document in 1.3.3.x. But you probably can
go forward to 1.3.5svn and rescue it there. That is a long process and
requires that you get cairo2-dev and python-dev. I just went through all that
on Kubuntu unstable. The compile takes hours. But it seems to work.
