[Scribus] Usability needs attention -- time for a feature moratorium?

For me, as for features,
it's mostly the linked text frames problems
that prevent me from using scribus
and bringing a new desired success story.
(I understood I had to wait 1.6 ...)

Plus stability
(but now, i switched from an old XP to a new Ubuntu
and a new Vista, and scribus might prove more stable)
