In reference to finding right download for Scribus, I confess (blush blush)
I'm not sure what Fink and MacPort mean.

With great embarassment, I have to ask what the procedure is for downloading
either Fink or Macports.
I saw no reference to either on the Source Forge menu.
My simple mind managed to get ghostcript into the applications folder, where
it has been waiting for company of some sort.
On Sourceforge I see a "package" of 4 downloads but no indication as to
whether all 4 are necessary. The readme of the last one suggests that that
is for use by more expert people, as if to suggest that the user is not
supposed to download all four components of the "package".
Thanks for your kind reply - sehr vielen Dank!

But you definitely have to decide to use Fink *or* Macports: Don't use
both at the same time! If you do so, you run into trouble. Personaly, I
prefer Macports because it is more actual than Fink.

Best,

Tom
