Printing to a local printer attached to my computer that is running
scribus always comes out washed out. It is dramatically different
than what you see on the screen in scribus.

The differences in what is printed is shown by the two different PDF files.
scribus-test1.pdf (pdf exported with screen/web set)
scribus-test2.pdf (pdf exported with printer set)

Printing either of these pdf files prints them exactly as seen on the screen.

Printing directly from scribus to a local printer is the issue.
