Yes, but where is the difference between converting pdf->eps and 
pdf->tif using ghostscript (in both cases) from the developers' 
perspective? I am converting my pdf's to eps using ghostscript, but as 
Scribus is using ghostscript anyway, it appears strange to me that it 
chooses a bitmap output format.

Anyway, we will see when the new 1.3.5 becomes stable :-)
