[scribus] SVG Import Issues

I have recently updgraded to Scribus 1.3.3.12 on a vista environment.  I am
trying to import and SVG and it does not seem to be working at all.  I get
no error message, but the file does not import.  Anyone else having this
problem or have a suggestion?
