For serious work it pays to stick to the stable version. It is a bit
late to backtrack now. However if you can take your present pdf
file, save it as text from acrobat Reader, and then flow the text
file into 1.3.3.12 or 1.3.3.13 you may be able to save your project.
It depends of course on the complexity of your layout.
