[scribus] pdf

hello,
I think I need some direction about .pdf etc.
I made a flyer which looks ok and exported it as pdf and it looks ok
in acrobat but when I open it back in scribus an image is missing and
some words ( which I had all green) the  first letter of the word is
black and the rest green.
how is it that acrobat shows the flyer as intended on screen but scribus not.?
Is it in the export from scribus to pdf or from the opening of the pdf.
