may i tell you that you virtually don't need ghostcript when working 
with scribus?
you only need it for the print preview (which you can replace -- in 
better -- by creating a pdf) and for including eps/pdf files.

i will write a bug report, asking for a better message, when scribus 
notices the lacking of ghostscript...

a/ scribus is an international project, so it won't always match your 
local way of describing things (and there is not one unique english on 
this planet)

b/ we can't just plainly copy the interface from other software, so we 
have to mostly rely on how things should be called and not how they are 
called by others

c/ i won't tell you to buy the book to see the terminology table, since 
this is a taboo in this list...
