[scribus] noob text format question

thank you for explaining that to me.  i do need to change the
formatting once it's in the text box to design the page it's on so a
pdf version would do, but it's good to know what the other options
are.  and now i know what the 'OO' file extension is.  it had popped
up a couple times when i was first using Scribus and confused me, so
nice to know.  thanks for your help!
