[scribus] How do you Export as SVG from a script?

I need a conversion script that will automatically import an EPS file and  
then as SVG file.
The problem is there is no SVG function similar to savePageAsEPS(...) in the  
documentation.
Is there a way to export SVG files with a script?
Any help would be appreciated.
