[scribus] Sribus 1.3.8 crashes

Hi,

I downloaded Scribus 1.3.8 for openSuse 11.3_X64 from mrdocs repository.
When I open a text frame and import text from an openoffice document 
(.odt file) Scribus crashes.
When I start Scribus from the command line I get the following messages:

jan at linux-uls1:~> scribus
(13577): Trying to open ksycoca from  "/var/tmp/kdecache-jan/ksycoca4"
"No metrics found for font 
/usr/share/texmf/fonts/type1/urw/helvetic/uhvr8a-105.pfb, ignoring font"
scribus: symbol lookup error: 
/usr/lib64/scribus/plugins//gettext//libodtimplugin.so: undefined 
symbol: xmlSAXParseFile

I also have Scribus 1.3.8_svn installed and there this doesn't happen 
but there I can't select the "Embed PDF & EPS files" in the save as pdf 
window.

Are there solutions for these problems?
