What fonts work with Scribus?

I downloaded and installed Scribus yesterday. Searched and found the perfect  
font at fonts.com. Installed it to Windows. Went to use it in Scribus, but it  
doesn't appear in my fonts list.

I think the format of this font is called Open.

Any advice most welcome!!
