no, i don't think it's a good idea... 

it's not really kind to send 10+ mails a day (not everyday, but you
can't choose the day) to somebody having posted a question through a
forum.

but we may send a mail to the submitter asking him/her to join the ML
and present him/herself to the list.

if he/she does not want to join she/he will be asked to read the answer
in the archive (with a link to the current month's archive?).

currently only a link to the result of the submission gets sent, which
is not really helpful.

... maybe there is a way...
