[scribus] Marathi fonts in Scribus

Hello All,

I was trying to format a booklet (about 16 pages, quarter of A4 page
size), in an Indian Devnagari font (Marathi to be specific) and found
that the combination letters do not display correctly in layout mode,
but they do display correctly in Story Editor mode. I tried creating a
PDF and found that that too did not display the fonts correctly.

I have version 1.3.5svn Ubuntu Lucid 10.04 64bit.

Could anyone help?
