The only way to make the text flow seem like it flows around the steeple is by flowing it around another, invisible object.
in that case you change the form of the text frame to match the part of
sky you want to write onto...
i guess it's much more straightforward than to define a contourline on
the part you don't want to overwrite...
there may be cases where this approach won't work, but -- most of the
time -- this is the solution to your problem...
