[scribus] Scribus 1.3.9 - MacOS X, 10.4, G4 processor - crashed during program load

Hello to all Scribus developers and system builders,

thank you very much for publishing Scribus 1.3.9 and for obviously seemingly trying to produce a version even supporting MacOS X 10.4, still using the G4 ( not Intel ) processors :

I tried to install it on a G4 Mac with MacOS X 10.4.11 and the installation process did run till

  - Suche nach Schriften läuft   ( search for fonts is running )

  - Fontcache wird erstellt      ( fontcache is being built ),

but then Scribus crashed.

The Scribus application does not seem to define a font path directory in "scpaths" and a lazy symbol binding failed too.

Please find below the crash report.

What could I do to correct this error ?
