'tis true, but the first bz2 I unarchived I did with bzcat, and I
suspect the last one I may well be also with bzcat.

However, my normal work machine has this in .bashrc, so for most
unarchiving I use 'extract'

          *.7z)        7z x $1        ;;
          *.xz)        unxz $1        ;;
          *.exe)       cabextract $1  ;;

  fi
