Yes!

I use the gmail interface when not at my usual computer (where I use
thunderbird), and gmail defaults to top posting. I can't seem to find a
setting for that. (There are some old greasedmonkey scripts, but I'm a bit
unsure about their validity)

Guess I'll just have to remember! (a tough thing at my age!)
