Hi all,
as this seems to happen quite often - people not knowing how to
unsubscribe - it might be an idea to add this information to the footer
that is added to each message. The headers include the List-unsubscribe
header, but most email clients don't really do anything with them, I guess.
Why not add to the footer:
To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to
scribus-request at lists.scribus.net with the subject unsubscribe ?
Or go to http://lists.scribus.net/mailman/listinfo/scribus to unsubscribe.
As some people use aliases, I think mailman can include the email
address it sends to in the body/footer of the message to. This would
clarify for people with which email they are subscribed.
Maybe this can help to reduce the amount of this kind of spam?
It would need to be done by the list owner/moderator.
Best wishes,
Andreas
