[scribus] Scribus won't launch

I have a MacBook Intel Duo Processor and am running 10.4.1 on it.  I  
downloaded Ghostscript then downloaded and launched Scribus I downloaded  
1.3.6 because that was on the Download button and launched .  All it does is  
give a "Failed to Open Error" message.
