Given those drawbacks one may as well go to a free Open
source product such as Scribus, Lyx, TeX or Open Office, in
that order of preference.
If someone will send me a sample MSPublisher file I will see
if I can extract the text from it. The formatting and illos are a
lost cause I fear.
