Hello,

I would like to have a recent and stable Scribus for MacOS X, 10.4.11, and a  
PowerPC G4 processor.

Here are my issues :

I tried to use fink, but

pb : Gunter$ fink list scribus
Information about 1998 packages read in 1 seconds.
     scribus   1.2.3-1001  Layout program

Could I build nothing newer than version 1.2.3-1001 using fink ?

Then I tried to use macports, according to

Unfortunately I did not know what to do here :

- Install Qt4 4.5.0+ for OSX (downloadable from www.trolltech.com) ,

as I did not find Qt4 4.5.0+ on this website, and as I do not know what  
version to use instead of 4.5.0+ .

I am simply a beginner regarding using fink and macports for generating an  
own Scribus version.
