the, you'd better make some tests on styles matching between oo.org and
scribus.
it should work correctly, but it's always better to test it before using it
in production!
ciao && good luck!

Hi Heather,
two possibilities: you don't ghostscript installed (maybe Scribus can't
find it), or there is something wrong with the EPS.

sure Scribus can find it? Heather

Go to File > Preferences > External Tools and see what the gs executable
is set to.
Usually you get a warning when you start up that ghostscript is not
installed, so presumably if you didn't get the warning, Scribus found it Ok.

Again, can this string be automatically filled with a default value? It is
not the first time we read that PDF/X-3 is not available and this imo
shouldn?t be.

AFAIK, there is no way to filter character styles through a filtered text
import.
For example, so as to have some part of text italic in the middle of a
paragraph
(as was already asked 5 years ago in
http://nashi.altmuehlnet.de/pipermail/scribus/2005-August/012630.htm,
or to change fonts or size or color or whatever related to a character).
If true, is there any plan to have text import character styles filters ?
But I would be very happy to be wrong !

Hola

I hope you accept a reply in English:
My guess is that you are using Windows and have changed the desktop theme,
because that's almost always the reason for this kind of issue. Please
change
it back to the default theme, and it should work for you.

He tenido dificultades semejantes. Lo que yo he hecho es hacer clic en
el icono del archivo con el boton derecho y escoger "Abrir con...
[Scribus NG]". No se si eso sirve en Windows.
