The problem with tooltips is that they require the user to fiddle with
the cursor to know that they're there. I think tooltips are a good
reminder about things, but not good as a primary source of information.
It would be more intuitive to have a message where the choice for X-3 is
made: "Info String required", perhaps even have the place for putting
the info string on the same tab as the button to choose X-3.
Another option might be to have a message to check the Help browser
about X-3 (provided there is something in Help about this issue).
