At this point Scribus does not have tables as in OOo. You can import
text and data from OOo, but the table formatting (as a table) will be
lost.
Scribus does have a table utility, but it just creates multiple text
frames that are not otherwise connected.
There are workarounds, but bear in mind that Scribus is a layout
program, not a program for writing or doing calculations.
One workaround is to create text frames of multiple columns and flow
your data through them as a stream of text.
Another workaround is to create the table in OOo, export to PostScript,
and import the PostScript as a vector graphic into Scribus.
