[scribus] Too large PDF Export file

I've made a PDF template including about 90 form fields in Scribus 
1.3.3.14. My intention is to use the pdf-file in an ASP.NET application to 
generate a pdf file by using the free iTextSharp component. The 
application generated file will include many pages each built up from the 
pdf template. To avoid performance problems the application generated file 
isn't allowed to be too large.

MY PROBLEM:  The pdf template is too large and the application generated 
file cause performance problem. I would be very thankful if somebody can 
help me. When I use Export/Save as PDF... in Scribus to generate my pdf 
template, I've tried to change Compatibility, Resample Images, 
Compatibilty to different values and the file is always too large (about 1 
MB). I only have a small image in the pdf and even if I completely remove 
the image the generated pdf template only decreases marginally. Under 
Fonts to embed I have Arial Bold and Arial Regular and nothing else. 
Output Intended For is set to Screen / Web.
