The stable version is 1.3.3.14, and you cannot save files back to this format 
with 1.3.5(1). If you mean 1.3.6, I suggest you download the latest 1.3.7svn 
snapshot (scribus-svn > 1.3.7svn). The file loading has been fixed in that 
version.
