Edit > Master Pages brings up a dialog to make and edit Master Pages
Use Page > Apply Master Page to assign one to a given page.

If you want to do this visually to see results, enter Edit Contents mode 
with the toolbar icon, or double-click on the frame. Move the cursor to 
highlight your characters, then find Tracking in the Text tab of 
properties to make this adjustment.

You can do this individually of course. There is also the Extract Text 
script that will make a file containing all of your text, with notes as 
to which page each bit came from.
