[scribus] Can't load scribus

Hi I was using an older version (b4 1.3.6) 1.3.3.14 or 5 I think on Mac OS X  
(10.4.11). I decided to d/l v. 1.3.8 today and now scribus won't load. It  
get's as far as "fonts" then I get the message "Scribus quit unexpectedly".  
I've tried installing/using a lower version (1.3.7 and 1.3.6) but the same  
thing happens. Now I can't go back to what I was originally using, as it's no  
longer on your website for d/l. Can you help? thanks- Karen
