[scribus] Sankey diagrams in Scribus 1.3.8

I'm hoping to include some simple Sankey diagrams in a Scribus document.

That involves being able to draw straight lines which turn through 90 
degrees with radiused corners.

I could do it as

     straight line
     90 degree arc
     straight line
     etc

but I can't see a tool in Scribus 1.3.8 to do the 90 degree arc. Have I 
missed something obvious ?


Failing the obvious in Scribus, is there a free tool out there for 
drawing simple Sankey diagrams ?

Maybe I should just hand code it in postscript, but there should be a 
simpler way.
