I should also have mentioned that in Scribus 1.3.3.14 for Windows XP,
exporting a pdf doesn't work properly with images with a transparent
background. The transparent background in rendered black. If I open the
file in Scribus 1.3.8 and export a pdf the above doesn't happen and the
images are shown and printed correctly.
