I do not find in my vs 1.4.0rc2 Preferences, General any reference to 
large or small icons. You can set the size of menus and palettes but not 
icons.

To Judy, I already have purchased a 22" wide screen monitor and have had 
minimal problems. I encountered the problem early on but have found 
numerous workarounds but not with Scribus.
