[scribus] Text properties

Hi,

When I have a text frame with some outlined text in it and I set in 
Properties > Text > Columns & Text Distances Top, Bottom, Left and Right 
at say 3mm, and at the same text I want to use Properties > Text > 
Advanced Settings > Glyph Extensions to improve the look of the text by 
decreasing the Glyph Extension to less than 100%, at some point say 96% 
the setting of the right text distance is ignored and the text line 
fills to the right border of the text frame.

Am I doing something that is not allowed, or is this a bug?

I am using opensuse 11.3_64 with Scribus 1.4.0.svn. I also tried this 
with Scribus 1.5.0.svn with the same result.
