Perhaps
http://wiki.scribus.net/canvas/Getting_and_installing_ICC_profiles may
give a further clue, It suggests that C-C-T stands for Cups, LittleCMS
and TIFF, though the manual suggests that the first C means Scribus is
compiled with littlecms support. (ie, not Cups)

You are definitely missing something, and I hope a Windows user may be
able to give you a better answer
