[scribus] Crash prone long document.

I began a new book length document with 100 pages. 
Unfortunately both 1.4.0 and 1.5.0 versions of this 
documentare freezing pretty regularly. Is this common in 
long documents?

And <ctrl> s creates an empty backup file. Does this have 
to be <ctrl><shift>s?

I changed the autosave interval from 10 minutes to 1 
minute.That doesn't seem to have any effect.

Also I still want to have the Style menu as an option in 
the 
drop down menu of available styles in the Story Editor. 
could it be restored in 1.5.0?
