Just in case nobody's mentioned this yet...
(Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.7 - Scribus 1.4.0.rc3, Build C-C-T-F-C1.10.2-Mac/Aqua)
(Don't know if that's the recommended version, but seemed to be the latest build at the download site.)
With an open document, either click the Save toolbar icon (3rd one from left), or select File>Save, or press Command-S, or do all three just for fun. In any case, the document should be saved, right? Immediately next, close Scribus. What's this? A dialog pops up:
Document:
<file>.sla
has been changed since the last save.
Excuse me, but the document was JUST saved! So, did it really save or not? According to the file date/time stamp (while the "unsaved" dialog is up) the document is indeed saved. So why the extra click-through, Scribus developers? Why does the application believe upon exit that the document is not saved when in fact it really is?
Mike
