[scribus] Editing Shape Points

(I'd enter this on Mantis, but cannot pull up the site.) When editing shape points using absolute coordinates and clicking on a node, after updating the coordinates Scribus frequently "forgets" that it's in Move Nodes mode and the tool needs to be clicked again to "remind" it of which operation is still selected. Even more annoying is when clicking on a node to update its coordinates, the node almost always shifts simply from clicking on it. (I don't have any snapping turned on, and I try my best to keep the mouse still when clicking, but invariably the point shifts.) Since there is no Undo option to reset the point to its original coordinates prior to selecting it (another design oversight), the point must be manually reset (nearly impossible if the coordinates for each point weren't written down somewhere). To get around this, it would be nice if there were four new buttons added to the Edit Shape GUI: "First Node", "Next Node", "Previous Node", "Last Node". Clicking on any of these buttons would select the appropriate node. Then nodes could be selected without actually having to click on them. Also handy would be having small node numbers displayed next to each node. This would aid in identifying path direction, and then also assist with a fifth selection button "Goto Node" which selects the specified node. Of course, none of this would be necessary if nodes didn't "jump" when selected, or if said action could be undone.
