But you're talking about adding more parameters to the SLA file, which
is already rather tag-heavy.
I don't recall that programs like Word or Adobe Reader do this. I think
I would be more irritated by having the zoom/page remembered when I
reopened a document.
Generally speaking, I have a particular zoom level that I will work on
most documents as a starting point, perhaps different from one computer
to another depending on screen size. The default display size and some
zoom parameters can be changed in Preferences.
