When I quit Scribus 1.5.0svn same build but on opensuse 11.3_64bit I get 
the following messages:

QFSFileEngine::open: No file name specified
QWidget::setMinimumSize: (/QMdi::ControlLabel) Negative sizes (-1,-1) 
are not possible
