[scribus] Error on executing 1.5.0

I have a new Slackware 13.0 partition. Scribus 1.5.0 will compile but 
gets an error on execution. I suspect that my new partition is missing 
something vital, but I can't be sure. Here is the error message:
Pythonize constructor -- pid = 19111
scrib5: symbol lookup error: 
/usr/local/scribus_svn/lib/scribus/ps//libscripter.so: undefined 
symbol: Py_IsInitialized

Any thoughts?
