[scribus] problem importing python modules to script

All,

I installed a virtual Ubuntu box, updated it to the current version,
installed the Scribus 1.4.0 RC2 package, installed these Google calendar
libraries, again, and find myself in the same boat.

So now my question is, on Linux, how do I get Scribus to use libraries which
are installed on the machine beyond those that are normally there? My
Google Calendar Python script works from the command line, but not from
Scribus. Any ideas?

Thanks for any pointers,
Steve
